Tips from the Farm
Low and slow is the key to tender Texas brisket.

Ingredients

1 whole brisket
¼ cup coarse salt
¼ cup black pepper
2 tbsp garlic powder
Preparation
Instructions
Trim brisket if needed.
Combine seasonings and coat brisket generously.
Preheat smoker to 225°F.
Smoke fat-side up until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Wrap brisket in butcher paper.
Continue smoking until internal temperature reaches 203°F.
Rest at least 1 hour before slicing.
